BenBen TV Mute and Audio Fixes: No Sound, Muted Video, and Volume

BenBen TV mute is instant: tap to mute, tap again to unmute. If a video has no sound, check mute first, then the phone volume, then the stream itself.

Mute and Unmute

The mute control sits in the player and works instantly: tap once to silence the video, tap again to restore sound. It mutes the video only, not the whole phone, so calls and alerts still sound as the phone settings allow. That separation is handy on a shared sofa, where one tap silences the video without silencing the phone.

The BenBen TV player keeps mute visible in the player controls, so a silenced video is never a mystery. If a video plays with no sound, look at the mute control first: a muted icon explains the silence at once.

No Sound Checks

If mute is off and there is still no sound, check the phone volume and the phone silent mode. A phone on silent or with media volume down plays video silently in every app, not just BenBen TV, and raising media volume fixes it everywhere at once.

Next, check the stream itself. Some sample and source streams carry no audio track, or carry audio the phone cannot decode, and no player setting creates sound that is not in the stream. Try the demo playlist: if demo samples sound fine and one link does not, the link is the cause, and the not playing guide covers the link checks.

Sound After Switching

If sound vanishes after switching items, check mute again first, since a mute set on one item can feel like a fault on the next. Then check the new item itself: a playlist can mix items with and without audio, and a silent item after a loud one is a property of the list, not a bug.

If sound is distorted rather than absent, lower the phone volume slightly and check the connection. Distortion on a weak connection comes from a struggling stream, and the buffering guide applies to audio stalls as much as to picture stalls.

Audio in Short

Mute first, phone volume second, stream third. Most silent videos end at step one, and the rest end at step two. A stream with no audio track is the only silence no setting fixes.

Quick Answers

Does the player mute affect other apps?

No. Mute silences the video in the player only. Other apps and phone sounds follow the phone settings.

Why is one playlist item silent and the next loud?

Because items in a list can differ. Some streams carry no audio track, and a silent item is a property of that stream.

Can I control volume inside the player?

Use the phone volume buttons for loudness and the player mute control for silence. The player keeps volume simple on purpose.
